Tom Allen, Lobbyist

From the Press Herald:

Former U.S. Rep. Tom Allen has been hired to run the trade group that represents American book publishers.

The former six-term Democratic congressman from Portland, who ran an unsuccessful campaign to unseat U.S. Sen. Susan Collins last year, will be president and chief executive officer of the American Book Publisher's Association, the group announced today.

Public Corruption

Dear Mr. Allen,
During the year 2008, I was the victm/witness within and of a crime that involved a county prosecuter and police.
Although there were many more involved the convoluted experience is to involved to write here.
Anyhow my family are the largest contributors in the world to the Democratic campaign
The people who eventually to shut me up harmed me ( and they a good job of damaging me for life) were big business owners in Maine.
The pay offs allowed one of the officers who harmed me a raise in rank.
I had asked the Governor to investigate or rather open an investigation into my allegations as my family are hassidic jews.
He didn't do that.
The state deneid me access to ALL services both legal and mental health and housing.
I was run out of Maine by the federal Victim/witness office in both Bangor and Maine.
The corruption covered three counties perhaps four or more.
my question is how may i have my allegations looked into?
There is an immediate threat to my life, and after i was victimized for three weeks I escaped, and went state to state shelter to shelter who in turn would call Maine and for some reason i was run out of the shelters..Is there recourse for a state crime?
I may be contacted at 309-663-0483
Thank You Rachael Silverman

Gov

I guess this means he's not running for governor.

Also, what the heck are you going on about, Rachel, and what makes you think a lobbyist for publishing companies can help you?
